21M, read Meditations and now am reading Letters From a Stoic. I went on a big self-improvement journey corona first hit and stoicism was highly suggested anywhere I went to online.
So, I legit need advice.
When I was younger, less than 10yo, I was heavily bullied by girls from my school for being bad looking. I was thin/skinny, shorter than average height and had a bad face. That left me hurt for years without being able to maintain eye contact with a woman ever without feeling embarassed or creepy.
But like I said, when COVID hit I started working my ass off on the gym and on my social skills. Luckly, I also became really tall and some facial features (like facial hair) made me get out of the "unattractive" category imo, but not handsome nor even close.
Ofc that being tall with a hot body is attracting a lot of attention, but the memories from the past still haunt me till this day. I then start a loop/cycle I'm trying to break in my head: "they treated me poorly when I wasn't attractive/it's all superficial/they'll never truly love me for who I am/I binge in addictive behavior (porn, games, YouTube, you name it)".
Please, if anyone can help me: how can I break this stupid cycle, because I know it's not healthy, for good?

So my crosshair size in my settings keeps changing for whatever reason (i have no autoexec running that could reset it), and im tired of changing it all the time in the settings. Ive tried using "cl_crosshair_scale" but that changes the actual size of the crosshair not the distance of the crosshair lines. Is there any command to fix this problem?

Been playing it recently. His stealth giving 0 radius is ridiculously good. On top of that, you get directions when survivors are looking at you, so you know they will be around a certain way. On 1 x 1 he is unbeatable. If you are wondering where the survivor is, pop stealth, go to the center of the map, destroy a pallet or whatever, the survivor will peek at you and you will know where he is. His one shot knife is really good, super fast to charge. I used to be a Meyers addict, they are similar in theory but Ghostface is far far superior.

How difficult is it to change the date do you guys think? Do I just walk into a local office with my Birth Certificate? I've tried calling a few times but never got through to a real person and I don't really see a way to make an appointment.
Here's a little back story on the wrong date.
The day I was born is the 19th but SS thinks it's the 17th for some reason. I was told of this error when I was a teen in 1994 getting a new SS Card at an office but I was like "huh weird" and forgot about it. (If I recall they wouldn't fix it right then and said I needed to make an appointment to do that. Which I put off) Fast forward to mid 2000's and I'm doing taxes online (efile for the first time) and turbo tax is rejecting the birth date and then I remember the birth date error so I put in what SS thinks is my date, the 17th and it worked. I've been doing that ever since but I have a feeling I need to actually fix this or I can run into problems down the line.

| Dupa ce am citit Why we sleep saptamana trecuta, urmatoarea carte pe lista a fost Atomic Habits de James Clear. Am fost foarte nerabdator sa o parcurg, fiind una dintre cele mai recomandate carti legate de self-help de pe internet. A livrat intocmai asteptarilor pe care le aveam.|
Atomic Habits se adreseaza tuturor persoanelor care vor sa inteleaga de ce avem anumite obiceiuri si cum putem implementa sisteme pentru a ne face viata mai usoara si pentru a ne atinge obiectivele. Daca te chinui sa slabesti, sa fii matinal sau pur si simplu vrei sa intelegi mai multe despre formarea anumitor obiceiuri (si cum le poti folosi in favoarea ta), merita cu siguranta sa arunci o privere asupra acestei carti.
Este foarte captivanta si destul de convingatoare in modul in care te face sa vrei sa iti schimbi obiceiurile proaste si sa le adopti pe cele bune, nu este scrisa intr-un mod in care sa te faca sa te simti coplesit (cum a fost Why we sleep, de exemplu). Iti ofera sfaturi utile, relatand povestile sportivilor de performanta, oamenilor de succes, precum si povestile oamenilor normali. A fost o lectura foarte usoara, am citit-o cu drag si am reusit sa o finalizez in doar cateva zile (a fost si relativ scurta, vreo 250 de pagini cu multe grafice si un text destul de mare).
Sunt multe informatii utile pe care le-am extras din carte, insa una dintre cele mai interesante a fost efectul unei schimbari de doar 1% pe zi. Daca in fiecare zi esti cu 1% mai bun, indiferent de activitatea pe care o desfasori (sport, chitara, programare), la finalul anului o sa fii cu 37,78% mai bun decat la inceputul anului. Fie ca faci 10 flotari pe zi, canti 10 minute la chitara sau codezi doar pentru 10 minute, e mult mai bine din punct de vedere al progresului decat daca ai alege sa dai skip la ziua respectiva.

O alta lectie valoroasa a reprezentat-o intelegerea despre cum insusirea unei anumite personalitati te poate ajuta sa iti creezi sau sa scapi de anumite obiceiuri. De exemplu, daca incerci sa te lasi de fumat si cineva iti ofera o tigara, in loc sa spui "Nu, multumesc, incerc sa ma las", ar fi mai potrivit sa spui "Nu, multumesc, nu sunt fumator". Autorul intra in detaliu in urmatoarele pagini legat de cum insusirea anumitei personalitati poate fi foarte benefica in atingerea unui obiectiv pe care il ai.
Ar mai fi cateva lucruri de mentionat, dar sper ca ce am scris mai sus a fost suficient sa va motiveze si pe voi sa cititi cartea. Pe goodreads are 4,37/5, insa consider ca ar fi meritat macar 4,5/5. Pentru cei care au citit-o, voua cum vi s-a parut? V-a schimbat viata in vreun fel? Ati reusit sa implementati ceva din carte in viata voastra? Va astept in sectiunea de comentarii cu opiniile voastre.

Cartea de pe lista pentru saptamana urmatoare este Omul in cautarea sensului vietii, de Viktor Frankl. Abia asept sa o citesc, foarte multi dintre voi mi-ati recomandat-o.
